Im a local, and interested in the demoscene, altough im not really experienced in the arts, the goal is for me to learn those. The local lan "Exotic-Lan" dosent really have anything todo with the Demoscene, its just a LAN where people for the most part play games and download movies, games, etc The only really productive and creative is the WEB design compotition. Offcourse i dont really know what you had in mind, but this is atleast my view. Maybe you could get someone at The Gathering to display something.
